Your Online ESL Consultant Cancellation Policy for Online English Lessons
1. Advance Notice:
• Students are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours of advance notice for lesson cancellations.
2. Exceptions:
• Exceptions may be considered for genuine emergencies or sudden illness. Please communicate such situations at the earliest convenience.
3. Make-Up Sessions:
• Make-up sessions may be offered for cancellations made with the required advance notice. Make-up sessions are subject to availability and must be scheduled within 48 hours. If a make-up session is canceled, then the student loses the class — i.e., one cannot cancel the same class twice (or make up a make-up class).
4. Refund Policy:
• In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refund. Make-up classes will be provided, subject to availability.
5. Communication Channels:
• Cancellations must be communicated through via either email or text message and confirmed by the teacher.
6. Payment Terms:
• Payment for canceled lessons is non-refundable.
7. Consistency:
• The cancellation policy will be applied consistently to all students to ensure fairness and transparency.
8. Review and Adjust:
• This cancellation policy is subject to periodic review and may be adjusted based on feedback and changing circumstances. Any modifications will be communicated to students in a timely manner.
By continuing with the private English lessons, both the student and the teacher agree to abide by the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.
